The game of golf shall be played in accordance to the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Rules Limited and the following Local Rules of Kelab Rahman Putra Malaysia
LOCAL RULES
1. Out-Of-Bounds ( OB ) – (Rule 27-1)
As define by white stakes and/or lines. Where both stakes and lines are present, the line takes precedence. OB margin are left of holes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 12th, 15th, 16th and right of Hole 18th.
2. Integral Parts of the Course
All flowerbeds are integral parts of the course and there is no relief without penalty.
3. Relief
| a) |
All concrete drains marked with white paint adjacent to or near buggy tracks are part of the same obstruction as the buggy track. Relief as per Rule 24-2. |
| b) |
When playing any other than the 18 th , the white stakes defining the OB for the 18 th hole are immovable obstructions. Rule 24-2 applies. |
| c) |
Relief for immovable obstructions close to putting green as per Appendix 1 Part B -5 |
| d) |
Ground Under Repair (GUR) are define by white lines, GUR sign or white stakes. Relief as per Rule 25-1. |
| e) |
Relief for embedded ball through the green as per Appendix 1 Part B – 3a |
| f) |
Stones in bunkers are declared as movable obstruction (Rule 24-1 applies) |
4. Water Hazard (Rule 26-1)
| a) |
Water Hazard margin are defined by lines identified by yellow stakes. |
| b) |
Lateral Water hazard margin are defined by lines identified by red stakes. |
Except in a competition, a provisional ball may be played for a ball that may be lost in a water hazard, but the player must then proceed with the original ball in the hazard or the provisional ball and not any other options under Rule 26-1 5. Dropping Zone for Water Hazard (Hole No. 4A)
For a ball in the water hazard on this hole, a ball may be played under Rule 26 or a ball may be dropped in the dropping zone under a penalty of one stroke. In a dropping zone a ball shall not be redropped even if it comes to rest nearer the hole.
